Bahgat Sammakia oversees the development and implementation of strategies to advance regional economic development opportunities by working with community and business partners. Sammakia is also director of the Small-Scale Systems Integration and Packaging Center (S3IP) and a professor of mechanical engineering.

C. Scott Bowen has a background in law, having worked as an attorney in the private sector, the Broome County District Attorney’s Office, the New York State Attorney General’s Office and the State Organized Crime Task Force. He has also served as a commissioner for the New York State Insurance Fund and as a member of the Board of Directors for the American Business Council Inc. in Washington, D.C.
