Office of Sponsored Programs
Sponsored Programs is dedicated to supporting the Binghamton University community in its efforts to seek and obtain external awards to support research, training and other scholarly and creative activities. OSP provides support to faculty and staff in all aspects of proposal preparation, submission and grant administration, such as:
- Identifying potential funding sources
- Assistance in the development of proposals and budgets for submission to external sponsors
- Facilitating compliance with federal, state, agency and University regulations
- Submitting completed proposals to sponsoring agencies
- Negotiation and acceptance of all award mechanisms on behalf of the Research
- Foundation of SUNY and issuing subcontracts to partnering organizations
- Sponsoring workshops and information sessions on grant writing and other areas of
- sponsored programs administration
