DESCRIPTION:

A method is disclosed that allows for secure inexpensive cell phone mediated consumer level credit card transactions. High volume usage includes retail transactions at stores using credit cards.

POTENTIAL APPLICATIONS:

All forms of wireless consumer commercial transaction.

ADVANTAGES:

Transaction security is assured through the following:

  • the store does not know the identity of the person making a purchase;

  • the purchases receives an electronic receipt saved on the cell phone mass media card;

  • there is no way to link the customer with the individual purchase;

  • should monitoring occur there is no way to link customer identity or other forms of captured information required for customer impersonation.

None disclosed by the inventors.
