On behalf of the University, the Director of State Government Relations maintains
relationships with state elected officials. He
is responsible for communicating the University's
priorities; for advising University officials
on proposed legislation; for responding to legislative
inquiries; for monitoring legislative issues and
activities; and for University outreach efforts
to New York State.
