Abstract: Wolfe Park in the Town of Chenango is a nature preserve utilized for outdoor recreation activities such as hiking and birdwatching. Over the past few decades, consistent damage to Dorman Road has been a costly issue. Repeated erosional events have threatened the integrity of local roads and private property bordering the park. The Upper Susquehanna Collation proposed a plan to reduce storm water runoff with the construction of a series of retention ponds within the park. The proposal also included a reforestation project. We propose a storm water retention system designed within the area of reforestation that will increase storm water retention by 23.5%.
