Abstract: This research explores the impact of Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant (HSCT) on life expectancy among male and female patients aged 20 to 50 who have or had blood cancer. The study aims to investigate whether gender influences survival rates post-transplant and identify factors contributing to differences in long-term health outcomes. Using surveys and interviews with transplant recipients, the research will gather insights into their recovery experiences, quality of life, and overall health status. A key objective is to determine if there are significant differences in survival rates between male and female patients and explore how post-transplant care, lifestyle changes, and medical interventions affect long-term outcomes. Understanding these differences could help identify strategies to improve patient longevity and enhance care practices. The study will prioritize ethical considerations, ensuring participant comfort, confidentiality, and informed consent. Existing literature suggests that HSCT can extend life expectancy by an average of 9 to 10 years; however, this research seeks to explore further opportunities to increase survival rates. Findings from this study may provide valuable insights for healthcare providers, encouraging the development of more personalized treatment approaches and contributing to improved post-transplant care, ultimately extending life expectancy for blood cancer survivors.
