Abstract: For as long as I can remember, there has only been one thing in my life that has stayed consistent: my intense, innate passion for music. Listening, creating, sharing. It has kept me grounded, propels me forward, and has given me a profound understanding of who I am. I intend to create songs that reflect some of the most impactful and defining events of my life, and each song will represent a different era of my life. This project is inspired by Tracey Emim, Ana Mendieta, and Ethel Cain, artists who took very personal parts of their lives and transformed them into powerful works of art. I will build upon these aforementioned pieces by collaborating with strangers and friends to create musical environments that allow for deep and honest songs to be created and will host a live performance of the songs at Heretic Culture Syndicate.
