Abstract: Energy drinks have been gaining more popularity over the past twenty years or so, especially among youths. This study examines the association between caffeine use and both lifestyle and personality. There were 200 participants in this study. Data was collected through a Google Form survey, which was distributed via multiple digital platforms. Data was analyzed using Pearson’s Correlation Analysis in SPSS. Results demonstrated that caffeine consumption was positively correlated with the frequency of sugary food consumption (p<0.01), self-reported levels of anxiety and irritability (p<0.01), as well as carelessness and disorganization (p<0.05). Conversely, caffeine consumption was negatively correlated with exercise frequency (p<0.01). There was no significant association found between caffeine consumption and sleep quality indicators. These findings suggest that consumption of caffeine has significant effects on lifestyle (specifically, exercise and diet) and personality while having no impact on sleep quality indicators.
