Abstract: Support services play a vital role in the development of youth, assisting them in navigating academic, mental, social, and personal obstacles. This study aimed to identify gaps in support services in order to improve the youth’s experiences and development using direct feedback from youth, parents, and school administrators. To accomplish this purpose, this study worked with a local community organization striving to educate and support the well-being of youth. Surveys were sent to school administrators and parents in Broome and Tioga counties to gauge different types of information on their view of youth services. Findings will highlight the access barriers such as transportation issues, current challenges, and youth experiences that may impact effectiveness of the support services provided to youth. The significance of our study lies in gaining a deeper understanding of youth needs, enabling schools and organizations in allocating and improving services in order to support student well-being.
