Abstract: “Seeing to Believe” explores the idea that visualizing goals can make them feel more real and achievable. For this project, I will create an interactive installation that invites participants to reflect on personal goals and physically represent them within a shared space. Using simple materials such as paper, markers, and written prompts, participants will write or draw a goal and place it on a designated surface. As contributions accumulate, the installation will transform into a collective display of hopes, ambitions, and future aspirations. The work encourages viewers to pause, imagine their future, and recognize the power of seeing goals represented visually. By making private thoughts visible, it demonstrates how visualization can strengthen motivation and belief in achievement. This approach is influenced by participatory and conceptual practices in the work of Yoko Ono, Candy Chang, and Jenny Holzer, who use interaction and text to foster reflection and shared experience across communities.
