Abstract: This project analyzes how media coverage of the Israel-Palestine conflict shapes public opinion by comparing global and national news sources. Using a qualitative content analysis, it examines differences in language, framing, sourcing, and narrative emphasis across outlets. The study focuses on key moments of conflict to evaluate how each source presents events, assigns responsibility, and constructs meaning for its audience. It argues that media coverage is influenced by political context, institutional perspective, and target audience, leading to distinct and often conflicting narratives. By identifying patterns in reporting, the project demonstrates how media framing can shape perception, reinforce bias, and influence broader public discourse. Ultimately, it emphasizes the significant role of journalism in not only informing the public, but also shaping understanding of complex international conflicts.
