Abstract: Them illuminates the stories of transgender and genderqueer members of the New York City ultimate frisbee community through a series of portraits and interviews. Combining photographic portraits with first-person narratives, this project presents nine individuals' reflections on inclusion, identity, and competition within a community where players self-officiate and self-select their gender divisions. By centering these voices, Them documents this moment in the community’s ongoing journey toward fully inclusive play, highlighting both moments of belonging and the challenges that remain.
